Mamba is all about making things more fun through the power of creativity. We brought that to life through a creative platform we called “Mambafy.” One year, we decided to Mambafy San Diego Comic Con.
Game on
It started with a 16-bit video game starring our spokes-robot (named Mambot, naturally).
We showed up in San Diego, transformed a storefront into a video arcade, and hosted our own convention: Mamba-Con.
Fans lined up for hours for a chance to meet Mambot and play our game—and to win free Mamba World t-shirts, Mamba pins, and Mamba fruit chews.
Beat the influencer
After the convention, we kept the momentum going via one of our influencers. Jordan Fisher (best known for his role in Hamilton and for winning Dancing with the Stars) challenged his 1.4MM followers to beat his high score for a chance to win exclusive swag.
The activation created a ton of social content
Who wouldn’t want to watch a spokes-robot play a video game starring a spokes-robot?
Over the course of the activation, we handed out over 20,000 packs of candy, generated more than 45 million free impressions, and engaged fans for over two minutes each time they played our game. Win!
